We had our last bit of sunshine on Monday up until a little after noon. I snapped this photo at lunchtime in the backyard. It should be enough brightness to get me through the clouds and rain until the sun returns….it’s still raining.

Not only did you have sunshine, but you photographed it. Intense and vibrant colours, indeed. I love the almost monochromatic touch to the picture. Quite amazing what our phones are able to do nowadays, no? Wish we could have some sun here, haven’t seen it for weeks now… Thanks for spreading some warmth and optimism.

Thanks Otto. The Droid does capture some great clarity and color. I didn’t use any processing at all. What I saw is what you see. The sun is an elusive thing these days world-wide it seems. Glad I could share the warmth.

Thank you! I had forgotten what my droid can do. I’m falling back on it right now, my Olympus died. Before the Olympus I took many a great photo with the phone; I may do a little series with those photos in the near future.
