Project 365, Day 80; There’s a Spring in My Step

Now that spring approaches I can see that my noon walks are not going to be anything about cardio.  I took almost a full hour today in what usually takes me twenty minutes.

I decided to go with the flow, enjoy the beauty of it all, and hit the treadmill in the evening.

A break like this, midway in my day, is a gift from the Universe.  A reassurance that there is a simple, calming beauty to be had right outside my door.

  1. Great Photos. We have not had much precipitation here in Maryland this winter and barely a lick of snow. If it is going to be cold I would prefer it if we had some actual snow. I love each and every photograph in this series and frankly I am quite envious that this is what you see when you take a walk. lol

Thanks! We are in to spring a little earlier than usual due to such a mild winter here in Northern California…only problem is that this is when we should be getting rain, and we’ve had almost nothing. Gonna be a bad summer! But for now, I’m enjoying the beauty!

Now that’s slowing down and smelling (taking pictures of) the flowers. 🙂 I would, too, if that’s where my walk leads me. Lovely photos.

  4. Wow, Angeline. These are great photos, and your Spring is here already!! Not fair! 🙂 I saw a crocus poking it’s head out the other day, but yours is in full force. How beautiful. 🙂

Thanks Katie. And we’re just getting started. There is a street around the corner lined with some kind of trees that blossom all pink in spring….that’s not happend just yet with those trees, so definitely more photos coming.

We’re still in the midst of winter and won’t see spring flowers for another 3 months… thanks for the preview.
