A mocking bird that dropped by for a visit this afternoon. He wasn’t our only guest today
These little sparrows are frequently out in the back yard picking away in the grass
I never knew what it was they were looking for until today with the zoom feature on my camera

I still can’t tell, even after several attempts made in staring deeply at the photo, what the bird is eating, and moreover, why it is so disgusting. What is it? You have made me very curious as to what it is! Blame it on my poor vision perhaps, but I just couldn’t tell for the life of me what that bird was eating. Worms? A bug? That’s not so disgusting, is it? Unless it was actually eating feces of some kind…??? You have really piqued my curiosity here!
