Gone are the palm trees swaying in the breeze.
All we have now are leafless trees shivering in the wind.
You’ve heard the phrase “shiver me timbers”? That’s what the tree and I were doing last night when I went out to take this photo.

I know that feeling after you leave Paradise… yeah, it sucks but then we are resilient and we regroup. Welcome back to the mainland. 🙂

“Toto” seems like a familiar word of affection to a respected and loved person. You are right that’s one huge contrast between a barren tree of winter and the lush, fun palm trees of the tropics. I hope to visit the tropics this Spring, I miss those coco trees and endless sands. Hope you and your family a Merry Christmas filled with laughter ,peace, love and blessings …..
