We’re gearing up for family and friends for Thanksgiving lunch tomorrow, and then we’re off!!!!
Blast Off 1 is the story of our trip to Orange County in May/June of this year.
Blast Off 2 is the sequel, with the protagonists taking off for adventures in Kauai right after Thanksgiving.
We began seriously practicing our transit modes with our trip to Puerto Vallarta in 2009. I will leave you with that story for leisurely holiday reading, and to add to my BootsnAll challenge 30 Days of Indie Travel Project
Prompt #22: TRANSIT
The word travel comes from a French word meaning “work” and sometimes, getting there is work. Between crowded buses, long airline delays, overnight trains and crazy rickshaw rides, transportation can be stressful, but it can also be a rewarding part of the tip. Tell us about a time when the journey became more important than the destination.
My story can be found here: http://matadornetwork.com/community/angelinem/getting-to-puerto-vallarta/attachment/8/
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. More from Kauai soon.
Nice post Angeline and could be a nice trip to Puerto Vallarta 🙂
