The Morning Garden

Walking about in the patio yesterday, feeling the coolness of the early morning hours. I could feel winter on the way, right over the mountains that encircle our valley.

I glanced over at the geraniums, quickly looking away; didn’t want them to pick up on my worry for them when the cold weather sets in.

So THAT’S what those things are! Man, they sure can be messy at times. I have some and have wondered forever what they were, lol.

They are so beautiful with blooms on them. When the blooms have faded you need to nip the whole stem off at the base and the plant will look pretty with just leaves. There you go, your gardening lesson for the day!
