Celebrating Fear and Kindness

I’m not really celebrating those things individually, I’m just catching up on days 5, 6, and 7 in the BootsnAll indie 30 project, 30 Days of Indie Travel Project.

The prompts for these three days are Fear, Kindness, and Celebrate, one day at a time; being prone to procrastination and multi-tasking, I just decided to combine them all in to one post.

Let’s see if this works for you (it does for me).

All three days were in Puerto Vallarta where I took these photos.

Celebrate. Time to celebrate happy hour right after a visit to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe…. I’m quite certain she would have wanted us to celebrate happy hour.

Fear. We also celebrated Halloween in Puerto Vallarta where I took the following photo. I’m still not certain if this was a costume or the daily attire. I snapped the photo and prepared to run for my life, not sure what the response to the photo-taking was going to be.

Kindness. We toured a little town near Puerto Vallarta, El Tuito, where the woman in the photo invited us into her home where she bakes the town’s cookies and cakes. The stone structure in the left of the photo with the wood pole is the oven; the door is kept closed with the pole. We were sent off with a bag of her delicious cookies.

That’s a menacing look right there. 🙂 I’m not sure either if that’s really a costume.
