Truck Sightings

A pick up truck going down the street with the truck bed in back filled with a quantity of yellow labradors; there they all were, just milling about in back seeming bored with wherever they had been, and probably wondering if they were almost home yet. “Are we there yet?” Arf arf arf.

Trucks up and down Highways 5 and 205 in Central California filled to the top with tomatoes bouncing around, some spilling over onto the road and rolling to the shoulder. I always wish I could stop to gather all the strays up for my salads.

Trucks on Highway 5 coming and going. Grocery stores, fuel, the big box stores, unmarked trucks with “How Am I Driving? Call 1-800-###-####”. Does anyone ever call? I sure want to sometimes but can never remember the number.
