My husband and I both have recently said that this house we are in will be missed. It is a comfortable 4 bedroom, 3 bath home that is way too much for just the two of us, but at the time of purchase, was the least expensive of all that we had seen, and it was in our price range. The only good thing is that we’ve only been here 3 1/2 years, not enough time to really build in any emotional attachment, except for the patio/back garden that has been a labor of love on my part. It was barren when we moved in. We planted a honeysuckle vine on the back fence that is beautiful and full and I will miss that. The saving grace is that I’ve already fallen in love with the house we are going to move to in June. It is a small two bedroom Spanish Revival style casita/cottage with a wonderful patio that awaits my loving care.
It already does 🙂

Take it from one who knows – you will gain enormous peace of mind in the new place and you’ll bloom where you are planted, as they say. The strain – the constant stress – of living in the old house, a house that would have never, ever truly have been an investment or a worry-free home for you will be replaced with peace of mind. The future will seem hopeful again.
