Foreclosure, Day 59; The Neighborhood Changes

What with the price of houses in our community falling like a rock, our neighborhood’s foreclosed homes are filling back up. New activity, new faces, new neighbor complaints…already. The family across the street that just moved in about a month ago has a ten or eleven year old male child who last night was accused by the neighborhood elder of throwing a rock through their car’s back window. The child pleads innocence, the elder is not buying it. And so it goes.  Another house, the one across the cul de sac that was our neighbor friend’s until last July, also just got a new tenant, and a lot of moving in going on over there. Strange to look over there at night and see lights in the house.

We got our first estimate from a moving company today.  As I walked through the house with the moving company guy I realized we have a lot more stuff to jettison.
