Walk the Line

barb4

I keep a close watch on this heart of mine

barb1

I keep my eyes wide open all the time

barb5

I keep the ends out for the tie that binds

barb3

Because you’re mine, I walk the line….

Water, it’s ours to save, but we have to walk the line. The drought continues to intensify here in Northern California.

  7. great pairing of images and lyrics!

i’m so sorry that you’re in a drought; i’m visiting friends in costa rica, and it’s rained almost every day – as if it’s september/october hurrricane season. if the el nino predictions are right, many areas will be begging for rain, and ecuador and peru are going to need lifeboats… the world’s weather is not on the best behavior these days…

  8. That first shot of the wire is a miracle of focusing, Angeline, but how I love that second shot … fabulous! Sorry to hear the drought’s intensifying.

Thanks, M. That first photo was a day I was out practicing for that online photography course I was taking. The others I took other days after that. Photographing the countryside around here is becoming my passion. I find such beauty in the fields and fences and barns. This drought is worrisome.
