You’ve captured the prompt to a “T” – and I couldn’t agree more about surprises – they’re magic! I’d go as far as to say that even bad things don’t seem so bad when they’re a surprise
Yup, if it’s a bad thing, better to just have it jump out at you. But surprises of the good sort are much better, to relish even after the surprise is over.
Oh yeah! Delicious things, set to bring out the child in each of us no matter how old! i just remember, I have a shot of 90 year old Papa opening a gift and that look on his face …
