A rose, broken apart by the rain. It looks almost how my heart feels today.

Ummm – our emotions are often the most delicate of things
So very much so, especially in situations such as this.
Nice photo.
Thanks Seth.
it is a beautifully poignant image Angeline
Thank you Jo.

I tried to give an answer there…
Thanks Frizz. I just went back and saw more of your input. One other problem here in the US along with lack of gun control is limited mental health care in most insurance plans.
It’s a beautiful rose with wonderful colours. The picture emanates a melancholy mood. But even a sad and broken rose looks great. I hope your heart isn’t too broken?
Thanks Otto. Indeed, even broken things can be beautiful.
My heart just aches for the families of those children, broken hearts are reserved for them.
Yes, that was such a sad event. Completely incomprehensible.
Very clever idea -technically wonderful photo, with strong colours. like the idea of a rose photographed this way…as for the heart…if only you could smell the aroma of the rose you photographed, I’m sure it would go some way in healing…there is much beauty..even when ripped apart.
Thanks. The aroma of the roses on the bush is what actually drew me in closer to have a look. There is just something about the “spent” rose that I thought beautiful. We have to find the beauty where we can to go forward with healing.
Simply stunning. I’m wordless.
Thanks Nicole.
Reblogged this on My Gay Boys.
Thanks for the reblog; it is much appreciated. It is good to shore up our souls amongst friends.
a rose is still a rose
Yes, and we have to remember that, even through devastation. Thanks Anthony for stopping in.
