Day 363; Birthdays

Party night tonight, and I’m barely making day 363 under the wire for posting today. Just getting back from a trip day before yesterday, and having a party tonight was pushing the proverbial envelope.

I grabbed my phone to take a few photos before the night was done.

The candles on the cake were lit, and if it seems like a bon fire….the cake and candles are for our triplets who were born on Thanksgiving day 39 years ago. We were on our way home from Hawaii on this Thanksgiving day, and celebrated tonight.

Happy Birthday to you, and you, and you!

Congratulations on birth of triplets no matter how many years ago! Also congrats on being so close to 365. I have so enjoyed your blog! I am hoping for half as many…and that was a lot of work. Will continue to follow you on your adventures! And happy birthday all around your house :)
PS…In my nanowrimo novel I named a character after you :)

    • Angeline M says:

Thanks Loretta for all the congratulations :) And I’m glad you’ll continue to follow along. Wow! I feel privileged to have a character named after me! When/where can I read it?

Triplets…and you are still walking and talking…wow

    • Angeline M says:

39 year later and I still wonder how on earth that happened :) Not even twins on either side of the families!

      • thirdeyemom says:

That is really amazing. Now what do you have? Hmmm…three girls? Three boys? Two girls one boy or Two boys one girl? Really cool!

      • Angeline M says:

Ha! When we found out it was triplets about six months into the pregnancy, we went through this very thing with coming up with names. We had all kinds of combinations :) It’s two identical boys and a girl……plus their older brother.

      • thirdeyemom says:

Wow! That is fascinating Angeline! So that means one egg separated into two to form the identical twins and then you had another one for your daughter! You could write quite a post about that! Do they all get along? I would love to know them! I don’t know any triplets but my cousins are identical twins and I grew up with them. :)

      • Angeline M says:

Exactly. Standing at the nursery window, a nurse walked up behind me and mentioned that the daughter’s egg could have split as well, giving me quads….I almost fainted…but then again, what’s one more :) They all do get along, are very close.

      • thirdeyemom says:

So incredibly wonderful Angeline! Do you have grandkids then? Do they all live close? sorry so many questions! I just like to know more about you! :)

      • Angeline M says:

:) I have 2 grand kids. A nine year old and a 16 month old. Both boys. We all live in the same area so see each other often. We just got back from a trip to Hawaii with the nine year old…post coming on that.

      • thirdeyemom says:

Wonderful!!!! Can’t wait! How special. :)
