The recent rain has scrubbed everything outdoors clean, and started a new crop all around the neighborhood.

Good looking mushrooms
They are rather enticing. Until you consider the toxicity potential.
I just love how you see beauty in such unexpected places.
Thanks, K. I’m always on the look out
I’m glad I saw that my leg was being pulled
Is it fairy tales, or other childhood stories that make us so chary of which are safe mushrooms? I’m very cautious … but looking, now that’s a different matter. I love to see them in all their extraordinary variety – and these are beauties Angeline!
Thanks, M. And I wondered how long it would take to find your leg was being pulled
Bad mushrooms are no fairy tale. Some can be extremely toxic. I’ll stick to looking too.
Beautiful shots, Angeline! Love the tope one!
Thanks, Amy. I walk past them every day, and they just keep getting bigger.
Looks yummy!
Thanks, EA. Pretty to look at. Don’t think I’d eat one.
Beautiful!
Isn’t Mother Nature good to us…providing such pretty things to look at?
Mother Nature says thank you
Yes she is wonderful!
Some real pretty shrooms. Wish I knew which ones I could eat.
Thanks. I wouldn’t even begin to touch one from the wilds (I was just pulling TWLG’s leg when I told her they were delicious).
looks wonderful
Thanks, Shimon.
The top one’s just perfect – the texture and colour … love it
Thanks! And they were delicious too.
