The 15 month old grandson was over for a visit yesterday. He had enjoyed playing with measuring cups and spoons from the kitchen cupboards, until his 9 year old brother pulled out his old toy box that he has kept at our house since he was a toddler. When I told the 9 year old he should donate his toys to a shelter last year, he told me he was saving them for his brother. I’m glad he did.
Our sons used to play with little cars, then the 9 year old grandson, and now the 15 month old grandson. And it still hurts when you don’t see one of those cars and step on it!
Thanks Jake, for a fun challenge http://jakesprinters.wordpress.com/2012/10/13/sunday-post-toys/

Beautiful Angeline – kids are so amazing
Love your blog!
Thanks, Anne. I love watching kids play! Glad that we’ve met up here on WordPress. Your blog is chock full of great information. And, thanks for your follow.
You grandson is very thoughtful. He was being a loving, generous elder brother. Stories like this brightens my day. Have a blessed week.
Thanks, IT. The elder grandson is incredibly generous. Hope your week and weekend is great.
It’s wonderful that so many in your family have played with those toys.
They get more special as the years go by. Thanks, Colline, for stopping in.

Thanks Nicole. I was having fun down on the floor taking photos and playing with the cars too.
How sweet of your 9 year old grandson! Enjoyed reading the story.
Thanks Amy. The 9 year old is such a great big brother.
Your Grandson really enjoy his matchbox cars ,Thanks for sharing my friend
Yes he does; thank you for another wonderful inspiration for a post.
So cute Angeline and such a wonderful big brother
Thanks Jo. He is a cutie, and his big brother is an incredible kid at nine years of age. We are taking him with us to Hawaii next month to introduce him to the islands.
Oh WOW Angeline – how amazing that will be.
That’s so cute that he said he was saving them. My nephew is a child hoarder and wouldn’t give anything up to anybody.
At the time I really thought he should give them up. He was right all along. At Christmas we are going to buy toys to take to kids in need.
Love those cool cars.
They’ll be collector’s items soon! Thanks.
WOW, that is one lucky kid… a Spiderman car!!
He has a smart brother who saved it for him
Glad to have your visit. Thanks.
