Project 365, Day 270; Summer From The Fields

Cut from the vine not long ago

curling tendrils hold their green charges

pluck! pop! It’s mine now

Standing over the kitchen sink with a juicy peach

tiles from the kitchen floor cool against my feet

filtered sunlight shining through the window.
