Today was the day. My birthday bike ride, gift from my son-in-law.

Details tomorrow. Just suffice it to say that I’m deliriously happy, and bitten by the bike bug….even if I am a year older.

Buying a bike was probably one of my biggest moments in my life. The fellow ship between riders is incredible. Did a great tour through France, Spain, Portugal and back up through Germany. What an amazing 3 weeks. Now, you need to get your own…
Your trips on your bike sounds fabulous. Must have been beautiful to see it from that vantage point, and as you say with the fellowship of other riders.
Ha! As we got off the bike yesterday, my son in law said the same thing…now the next step is to be in the front seat.

What a thrill ride!! I was driving behind a couple, perhaps in their 40′s on their “hog” the other day and it was endearing to watch his wife hug him tight as they coasted around curves and as she muzzled near his neck on stoplights. I found it very romantic for the couple who obviously loved their “time” together. I am glad you enjoyed your ride with your son, I take it it won’t be the last
