These cacti are down the country road leading to our neighborhood. I keep my eye on them every summer, waiting for them to bloom. I drove by today on the way home, saw them, and couldn’t wait to get home, leave the car off, and then walk back to take photos.
The wind was pretty strong, but gave the flower a beautiful effect.
And odd man out…saw this fellow as I walked back home

Gorgeous! Superb photography!
Thank you so much. It’s been really nice to meet you here on WordPress.
These are beautiful flowers
Thank you Shimon! I so agree!
Wow – these are stunning
Aren’t they incredible? Especially for having come out of a spiny, thorny cactus. I think the Universe is toying with us sometimes.
I know it is !!!!!!!!!!
The third shot from the top is gorgeous
Thanks Paula. I like to have comments on which shot people like the most.

Spectacular Angeline! I love cactus flowers too.
Thanks. I feel so blessed to have such beauty around me to share via my photos.
These are absolutely spectacular! My parents live on Tucson and I always adore the cactus flowers. You’ve got some beautiful shots here and I love the cactus in the country road!
Thanks tem. This strand of cacti are the only ones around, haven’t found any others around here….but maybe I need to go hunting
These are beautiful flowers, Angeline. I’m not surprised you look for them every summer!
Thanks Ruth. It seems so incredible that these beauties can come from such a spindly, spiky plant.
