There is something special about this picture. It’s out of focus, it’s grainy or noisy, and the colours are kind of bleak. But that’s what makes it a great picture. It has a grungy feeling, and yes a feeling of homeward bound. Sun is setting. The day is over. The work is done. I love the picture.
Thank you Otto. I had been taking a few photos in the car, trying to capture the sunset as we drove home. The road was a little bumpy, thus the photo a bit out of focus. And yes, it had been a long day filled with some anxieties and stress, and looking out at this sunset gave me that feeling of the day ending, with a sky that told me all was ending well. I’m glad you like the photo.
I know the feeling. There’s no place like home and there’s no place that warms our heart and make it jump with joy than being around the people you love. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration. The image created a nostalgic moment for me. Take care…
