I’m sitting out on the patio as I write this. It’s been the first really hot day of the season, 94 degrees. The sun has retreated now and the breeze refreshes. I glanced up and saw this scene across the garden, and couldn’t resist taking a photo. In my mind’s eye, it is a painting.

Indeed! I have that small bush that this rose is on, and then a large one next to it that climbs on the fence. Really an enjoyment to look out and see.
