Out in the garden Easter morning to see if the Easter Bunny had left us anything. No sign of that bunny, but bumped into something better.

Great capture Angeline!
Thanks Madhu. I wasn’t sure of what I had captured until I pulled the photos back up in the phone’s photo file when I came back inside; I just kept clicking.
I keep waiting to see hummingbirds. It’s really special when we do. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for stopping by! I think hummingbirds are special too; they make me so happy when I see them.
nice bold humming bird!
It really was! Either too young to know better, or old enough to feel no danger from me so close by…..and he wanted that nectar!
Wow! I knew the iPhone was awesome but I didn’t expect it to let you capture a hummingbird! Well done Angeline!
Thanks. I used an app called Camera+ and it lets you shoot rapid fire. I just clicked away, and the little hummer was just so happy with the heady scent of the freesia and the nectar.
I have Camera+ too, and Instagram and Slow Shutter, but so far I’ve only taken the time to learn how to use Instagram. Now I’m motivated to get into Camera+!
You will probably never go back to the “regular” iPhone camera after using Camera+
Good capture…they’re so darn fast
Thanks. This little one was too intent on that flower’s nectar to worry about zooming away from me. I was surprised.
You got him, that’s amazing. On the iPhone no less:)
He didn’t seem at all concerned about someone standing so closeby taking photos! He had a goal!!
Oh yes, all that lovely sweet nectar – his own Easter treat:)
He was most satisfied, diving in head first into the depths of the flower.
Seems you both had a most satisfactory morning;)
Indeed we did.
I noticed a visitor in our garden last week…I am glad they are back to entertain us throughout the summer.
I am so glad we have hummers. They just intrigue and delight me. We’ll have to compare Texas-size hummers with California hummers
The Easter Hummingbird!!!
Definitely a serious contender to take over the EB job!
