My tiny familia are Guatemalan Worry Dolls. According to legend, Guatemalan children tell one worry to each doll when they go to bed at night and place the dolls under their pillow. In the morning the dolls have taken their worries away.
O my goodness, you just reminded me of my Guatemalan dolls that I packed away sometime ago. I learned about them in New Mexico and bought a couple. Beautiful!
Thanks. My husband brought those home from Guatemala years ago and have been on my bookcase all these years. I used to pick one when I was having trouble with one of my kids and tell the doll my worry.
