One final, I think, entry regarding our foreclosure.
The house was listed for sale today. Day #1 on Zillow.
Our foreclosure has been swept along on the currents since our first missed payment in February. The timeline clicked along without missing a beat, without missing a day on the textbook process of how a foreclosure plays out.
The auction took place on 9/10/10 and we then found out a few weeks later that Fannie May had bought the house. We weren’t too sure what that meant, but thought they were going to hold the house back until the economy was better.
I am glad the house is on the market and I hope it sells quickly. It is much too nice to sit empty and neglected.
Goodbye house, thank you for sheltering us. Take care of the next family that comes to you.
I’m so sorry. I’ve been writing about the foreclosure crisis and your story came up in my searches. I certainly wish you well.

Thanks James. Walking away was the best decision for us; we do not regret it.
